More family

Oh, one more person I need to introduce. Actually a couple more.

This is my half-brother, Noah. Don't need to go into the details here, either, my sister has covered it and I'll defer to her on familial matters.

But I will explain a little bit about him.

His mother is Holly Alto. I'm sure most of you Sunset Valley historians and scholars have heard of her. Her family pretty much owned every shop in town. She was a music and art patron and, I'm told, financed a lot of my dad's early career. Her ancestor, Ebenezer, founded Bridgeport (more on that later).

Dad was pretty up-front with us on our half-siblings. There were no secrets. By the time we were adults we knew about everything in his past. Mom's secrets took a lot longer to come out, but Savannah forced them out of her.

This is my nephew (and best friend) Neil. He had it pretty rough for a spell, what with his dad touring and his mom cooking for the stars. I actually suggested to my sister and my dad that he should stay with us for awhile.


My sister covered this episode, but I'll just add a few things.
Dad was, like, "Okay, cool, he can stay with us for awhile till things cool it at home. He can use the guest room."
Mom, though, was a little skeptical. "You sure you want to do this?" she asked.
